Malcolm Gladwell "Outliers"

What are the attributes that make a successful person? Is is their IQ? Or is it also about a series of factors including their upbringing, advantages, personality, intelligence, personality, temperament, and even birthday that may play a part in their success? This is the impressively well made argument that Malcolm Gladwell makes in "Outliers" and it is well worth the read!

I love this quote below, it discusses the fact that any truly successful person owes alot to many who came before him including his parents and grandparents -

"It was a fact. He'd had to make his way alone, and no one - not rock stars, not professionals athletes, not software billionaires, and not even geniuses - ever makes it alone."
