"MANK" is an important film which includes top-notch acting, a clever but lengthy script and some beautiful directing. Amazingly, "MANK" was a retirement project for Jack Fincher based on the writings of Pauline Kael, "Citizen Kane" is one of the most respected films of all time and anything we can get on the history of it will thrill and wow audiences but the quality and execution of this film put it over the top. The screenplay does not move as smoothly as you would like often times forcing us to sit and listen to long and clever quips and arguments but in the end it is worth it.
