1) MOONlIGHT: Moonlight can be daylight or tungsten but keep it consistent

2) COLOR TEMP IN CAMERA: 3600 (more blue) - 4400 (more neutral) Range

3) MOTIVATION: Work with light that is there if you can, like street lamps

4) LARGE AND SOFT: If only moonlight in a scene then you can decide where the moon is and light all from that one side and with your most powerful large lights and diffuse as much as possible

5) MOONLIGHT LOOKS LIKE ITS ALL FROM ONE DIRECTION OR SOURCE: This is important but easier than you think, the moon is above everything and soft light SPREADS nicely to create this look, just diffuse it or bounce it

6) THREE LIGHTS OR SO: It does not take MANY lights to light this usually not more than 3 (he even does campfire with just ONE tungsten with 1-2 red/orange gels and a flicker switch called a Magic Gadget
