Believe it or not, It is extremely difficult to find a decent list on this sub-genre probably because it is a such a mixed bag of good/not so good films. This is a FUN list that gets to the heart of the best 70's, 80's and 90's Teen Slasher Films. Most of these I have actually seen, some I question and do not want to watch...and the top 10 I can attest are essential and FUN films in the horror genre. Number 6 scared the crap out of me when I saw it at a young age, a few years after it came out. I believe it was the first time I saw a slasher film/that much violence on screen, by today's standards it is nothing.
So get your popcorn turn off the lights and turn off your phone because we all know a stranger may call at any point...
