This is one of the better "Call of Duty" campaigns I have played and even better admittedly because PSN gave the entire game away for free, you cannot beat that. The single player campaign follows the story of the American campaign in France and Germany or in the "European Theater" of the war. The campaign has a very strong element of character, your relationship to Zussman is quite touching even when the other voice actors in the game and even the lead are a little distracting. It seems that some of the moments are too dramatic even for a "Call of Duty" game.
You also get the feeling that the soldier you are playing is the most capable super soldier ever launched into combat and it is amazing what he survives. This is always to be expected in these types of games so you cannot fault them for sticking to the formula. Nonetheless, the campaign is exciting and the history is fascinating. Elements of stealth gameplay are also very well done.
