OZARK continues to twist and turn in this new season. From beginning episode to final, season 3 builds slowly on the foundation of what works about OZARK which I believe is the choices characters make to survive and the fallout of them. It is difficult in a series to maintain interest, build on characters, remain true to elements that work and find new territory for storytelling and character arks. What seems to be working about OZARK is that it always had careful storytelling that moved at a methodical pace, not SLOW but careful all of which was based on these life and death choices that define character. It works because NOT EVERYTHING IS WIPED AWAY...we only meet Ben, Navarro and loyalties change and that is enough!!!
