THE DARK is a very dark and interesting movie. In the beginning of the film we recognize the setting and the performances as strong elements of the film. As the story progresses we recognize the more unique subject matter dealing with Welsh mythology as an important and interesting base for the story. The film delivers a great deal of horror and thrills along the way. The ending feels too long. Ultimately, the film's second and third acts have a nice thriller pace and interesting mythology that create a tense and engaging story that is worth watching!
