GRAVE ENOUNTERS 2 Director: John Poliquin Stars: Richard Harmon, Sean Rogerson Genre: Horror/Found Footage

Watching "Grave Encounters 2" is at first an uncomfortable experience, the first 10 minutes are sloppy and purposefully amateur to sink in the realistic found footage feeling.  I was ready to stop watching until a friend encouraged me to watch more.  I think the part that shines through most is an interesting twist on the reason why everyone is here again for a sequel. These kids make for an engaging story that feels more unique than the typical plot (looking at you new Blair Witch film) consisting of something along the lines of "my sister went missing when they filmed Grave Encounters 1...now I will find her."

The actors manage to both be unlikable for the most part and convincing which seems to be part of the approach made by the real filmmakers.
