"Scary Stories" is a fun ride with a very dark tone.  Parts of the film actually seemed MORE intense then some of the scariest horror films released in recent years.  The film also manages to feel like a Disney Channel Film like "Halloween Town" (one of my favorites).



A combination of great writing, good acting, very good directing and imaginative monsters and sequences make this film worth watching.  Here is hoping it gets a sequel.
